The Vmath curriculum and assessment components have been designed to work together to meet student, teacher, and district needs.

Assessments are the backbone of the Vmath, Voyager's math intervention solution. When scores from these assessments are entered in the Web-based data management system, teachers and administrators can automatically and immediately generate reports, which are powerful tools to:
	Identify students who struggle in math and poinpoint their needs
	Guide and adjust instruction
	Monitor and chart progress over time
	Provide data to show effectiveness of instruction

The modular format of Vmath lets teachers focus on specific mathematical topics and determine student mastery of those topics.

Each level of Vmath contains 8 modules. The modules include lessons that focus on conceptual understanding, skill development and problem solving.

The daily lessons in Vmath use the same structural format in each level. Each segment of the lesson follows a clear, step by step format, reducing teacher preparation time and facilitating implementation.
