Passport Reading Journeys helps accomplish the fundamental goals of special education, from the development of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) to modifications of the instructional plan based on student achievement.

The Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE) has endorsed Passport Reading Journeys as well as Voyager Passport, Voyager's K-5 reading intervention, and Vmath, its 3-8 math intervention product.

At W.T. White High School in Dallas, Texas, eighty-two percent of students receiving special education services in Passport Reading Journeys passed the ELA strand of the TAKS at the end of ninth grade. Nine percent of these students passed the assessment the previous year.
