Passport Reading Journeys Meets Criteria for Response to Intervention Hear Dr. Robert Pasternack, former Assistant U.S. Secretary of Education for Special Education and Rehabilitative Services

Response to Intervention (RTI) is the practice of providing scientifically-based, high-quality instruction and progress monitoring to struggling readers. Passport Reading Journeys incorporates a multi-tiered approach to address academic difficulties for all students, reducing referrals to special education.

We were looking at programs that would enhance and improve reading achievement and capability for middle-school students. We chose Passport Reading Journeys because we wanted a program we felt would be compatible with our students and would help grow their achievement in reading.
