Passport E addresses the instructional needs of struggling readers in the intermediate and middle school grades enabling them to become proficient readers. Passport Level E provides strategic instruction in Advanced Word Study, Vocabulary, Fluency, Comprehension, and High-Stakes Test Preparation.
Students receive differentiated instruction in a large-group setting, enabling them to master fundamental skills and build toward understanding of expository and narrative text.

Targeted Word Study (additional 30 minutes)
Targeted Word Study aggressively re-teaches and integrates skills taught in earlier grades. Daily lessons, taught in small groups, provide strategic instruction in critical phonics elements and comprehension strategies for understanding text. This component gives struggling readers the tools they need to become active readers of grade-level text.
