| Nationally, the reading fluency skills for first-grade students enrolled in Pasaporte increased from 24 words per minute to 45 words per minute, an 88% increase between their winter and spring benchmark assessments. Emerging readers came in 3 words below their benchmark goal of 40 wpm, and showed a 164% increase from their winter benchmark assessment.
