Voyager Expanded Learning Grant and Funding Director to Present at 19th Annual CASE Conference  

DALLAS, November 3, 2008 –Roberta Bergman, director of grants and funding for Voyager Expanded Learning,® will present a session on obtaining private funding for special education, at the upcoming 19th annual Council of Administrators of Special Education Conference. The conference will be held November 6-8, 2008, at the Grande Dunes Marriott in Myrtle Beach.

The session is titled Private Dollars – An Untapped Source for Special Education Programs and will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2008. 

The purpose of the session is to help special education administrators increase their awareness of private sector funding opportunities and identify potential funders in their own communities. The session will also help educators improve their understanding of the principles of securing funding from private sources through multiple methods including, relationship building, proposal writing and stewardship.
