California Reading Intervention for Grades 4-8  
In 2005, California added a new stand-alone reading intervention program to the state adopted list: California Voyager Passport™.

Designed as a core replacement reading program, California Voyager Passport moves struggling readers in grades 4-8 reading to grade-level proficiency. The program provides explicit, systematic instruction in the five essential components of reading, as well as critical writing strategies. Like all Voyager education programs, California Voyager Passport identifies struggling readers, intervenes with targeted instruction, and monitors student progress until intervention is no longer needed.

California Voyager Passport incorporates the latest scientific reading research and meets all state criteria for a stand-alone reading intervention program, to ensure your students achieve the highest level of success. Each teacher receives a Teacher's Resource Kit with easy-to-use Teacher's Guides for classroom instruction, as well as ongoing support from Voyager via phone, email, and the Voyager website for the duration of the program.

Voyager is approved for SB472, which provides incentive funding for professional development for teachers, paraprofessionals, and instructional aides. Education Technology K-12
Voucher Program		  
Voyager is an approved provider for the Education Technology K-12 Voucher Program, which is a result of the Settlement Agreement between California consumers and the Microsoft Corporation. The vouchers are to be used to assist districts to implement and support their state-approved district technology plans designed to foster effective teaching and promote student achievement in eligible schools that serve students in kindergarten through grade twelve.
